I have win 10, use Mozilla Thunderbird for my email and had accumulated a considerable number of messages which I saved in "Local Folders."

For some unknown reason, when I recently attempted to open Thunderbird I was given the option of getting a new email address or staying with the old one. I chose the latter but in doing so had to reconfigure the address. When I opened the new Thunderbird, I found all my Local folders had disappeared and my address book had been changed.

I have located my old "Local folders" file in my profile folder however have no idea how to arrange for it to appear in Thunderbird when I open the program.

If there is any way to do this please advise bearing in mind my technical experience is very limited to say the least. i.e. I would prefer not to get involved in the registry if at all possible.

Thank you, airaced57
