I really hate Microsoft sometimes. So is able to do a full backup. However the restore did not work. So I had to completely restore the computer back to factory default. Now I can't restore the backup. My backup is on an external drive however when I try to restore it and only sees today's backup.

Any ideas?

What product did you use to create the backups?

When it did reboot it offered the backup and restore. So I guess you could say it was Microsoft product
