Virus Protection for Windows xp?

I believe Avast is still the best, and supports XP - they have a page/download specifically for XP
AV Comparatives called Avast "the antivirus with the lowest impact on PC performance." It has almost no impact on your Windows XP's performance. Plus, advanced features like Cleanup and Browser Cleanup make things run even faster.
 
I believe Panda is another good option, but not sure if there's a 'free' option.
