I'm new to GPG and I've created my first key pair a few month ago.

GPG is very useful to encode some sensitive data on my hard drive but I wonder what I will have to do when my private key will be expired ? Will I be still able to decrypt my files ?

Will I have to create a new private key ? Will I have to extend the validity of the existing key ?

Thank you,
