I have a presentation to do in software testing, and i dont under stand the difference between a testing strategy and a testing method, or how to describe these:

Describe test strategies and techniques:

(all of the list below)

—   Unit testing

—   Interface testing

—   System testing

—   Automated testing

                             —   Compliance testing

Any help would be much appreciated.

Testing method is probably Test Driven Development or some other methodology, maybe even the testing frameworks used. Testing strategy is the overarching workflow i.e.: unit testing and continuous integration.

maybe?..

A testing strategy is the overall approach taken to testing an application throughout its lifecycle.

A testing method (plan) is the "how".
