Hey so i hope this is the correct forum but basically i got some major viruses on my computer and ive managed to get rid of all of them except 1 piece of adware which is called 'Adware.Elex.SHHKRST'.  I have tried everything to get rid of this piece of adware and it just wont go away.  Ive done over 10 different virus and malware scans and none of them seem to be able to get rid of it.  Ive tried resetting the settings in my browser and deleting extensions and nothing seems to work.  Is there something else that i am missing maybe within 'regedit.exe' that i have to find? because this is getting really frustrating.  If anyone can help that would be great.

My virus software tells me that the location is always at 'HKLM\Software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shellexecutehooks\{5f51fffe-7463-4220-B711-E5B9ACB88EDFE}' - i have no idea where this location is though so i cant even look to see if its there.

can anyone help me please?
