I am running XP Home and Trend Micro Internet Security 2006.

Each time I boot up my computer I get a pop-up window telling me that PE_PARITE.A has been cleaned successfully.

I was infected previously but got rid of it completely after running anti virus software and removing the entry from the registry. However this time around I can find no reference to it anywhere. E.g: no temp files, no registry entries and nothing found during normal scans with viruses and trojan scanners.

Why the pop-up after every cold boot, any ideas?
