Not sure how many would bother to read this but here goes.  I'm a 77 year old man that's been playing around with computers for 10 years  or more.  I'm self taught therein lies most of the problem I have I expect.

I have an IT friend that acquainted me with "Bleeping Computers", and i must admit the name is very appropriate!

As one might expect I come here with a problem and I hate to keep bugging my friend for he's a working man and I hesitate to bother him if I can solve problems myself.

I shall post the problem as soon as I'm familiar with how to do it.  It has to do with the inability to back up this computer as it give me a message talking about "Bitlocker Drive Encryption".

If this site is as helpful as I think it will be I will be here a lot I fear.

Not sure where to post this problem but here goes.

First - welcome to BC !

Next, the best place for help on back-ups is here -

https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/238/backup-imaging-and-disk-management-software/

Just click the 'Start new topic' button and away you go. Just remember any time you are posting about a problem to give basic detaiils on your computer - such as make and model - and the operating system you are using.

Thanks for the reply, I'm beginning to get the feeling that this site has 'real people', and they are willing to share their knowledge, thanks.
