I'm trying to install a fresh version of 8.1 on a totally erased HDD. I'm formatting the drive, installing windows 8.1. However once the device is turned off the BIOS doesn't recognise the SATA port and the SSD. It's so strange and I can't work out what's going on.

I'm having problems installing windows 8.1 professional on some samsung attic xt500 all in one machines. I've completely wiped the SSD and when I install the fresh installation of 8.1 many drivers can't be installed. The main one is the Wireless network card, I've tried the SW update tool, driver pack software and manually adding the drivers. The closet I have got is through the manual installation but I'm then getting a code 10 in device manger.

Any help would be great thanks.
