Sorry for the late response. If help is still needed, please run the Sysnative File Collection App again.

Why do I need to repost the file collection system? It's already uploaded.

Because it is over ten days old. The log files change, and we need the freshest look at your system.

Hello, fruiano, :)

The latest three dump files blame your AMD USB driver (usbfilter.sys) and an unknown driver (dd71800x64.sys). Do you know what dd71800x64.sys is?

Let's start by updating your graphics driver. To do so:

-create a system restore point

-download your graphics drivers from here

-run Display Driver Uninstaller 17.0.6.6 to uninstall your present graphics drivers

-reboot (preferably into Safe Mode WITHOUT networking)

-run the installer package you downloaded earlier

-reboot

If you still get BSODs/hangs, try this version of your graphics drivers and follow the same procedure.

If you can reinstall your AMD USB drivers, that would be great. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any downloads from Acer's website. :( If the above doesn't help, I'd start with these suggestions:

  • start monitoring your hardware temperatures with HWMonitor
  • run MemTest86 (WITHOUT the plus) for a minimum of eight passes. An excellent guide is available here if you need help.
  • run Seagate SeaTools for Windows. Test all your drives with the S.M.A.R.T. and Long Generic tests.
  • update your BIOS and Windows (if your computer could lose power unexpectedly, please don't!)
  • update all your drivers from your motherboard/manufacturer's website
  • ensure all your programs are up-to-date with Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI)
  • run Prime95 to stress your CPU, RAM, etc. and reveal problems(read the details in the link)
  • run Driver Verifier

Good luck!

regards,

bwv848

No i don't know what dd71800x64 is. I have an audio usb converter because my audio jack is broken. It might be connected to the bsods because it seems like every bsod I get is when I'm using the usb converter. I also

have the system sound device disabled because I use the audio usb converter only.

Then physically remove the audio USB converter and uninstall its drivers. Make sure to reinstall your graphics drivers as requested above.

I've been trying to install the amd driver in safe mode. But it keeps giving me errors saying that the program can't load/find drivers in safe mode. I can install it under a regular install but it gave me warnings that I couldn't find in the log. This was with the usb converter plugged-in and drivers installed. I'll try installing the amd driver again in safe mode.

If it won't install in Safe Mode, then just do it in regular mode. Sorry about that.

Seems like I'm still getting warning installing the amd driver. Maybe i didn't remove the correct driver. I only had seen two audio devices in the device manager so I removed one of them. How can I remove dd71800x64.sys? Maybe my OS is corrupt because my laptop power supply is prone to shutting down without the charger and I might have had some unexpected shut downs during windows updates. I got the same error again "could not load file or assembly 'Cli.Implentation or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file selected". I wasn't getting this error before the uninstall and I was able to open the catalyst center just fine. This is the usb converter I'm using https://www.sabrent.com/product/AU-MMSA/usb-external-stereo-3d-sound-adapter-black/ it says it's driverless so I need to uninstall this dd718000x64 driver.
