scan completed and in total 1480 infected files removed as logged in system-log.txt

Malwarebytes scan in progress .. w/ 567 Malware Found (& scanning in progress) .....will upload/update once done.

 

Above scan is in progress after deleting as much as I could as mentioned below by Aura in above post ....

Not really, as I already know what you're infected with (SmartService). Alright, go in the two folders below, and delete everything you can. If needed, go in their subfolders and try to delete everything as well. You'll hit files that you can't delete because they're in use or else, but you should be able to delete a lot of stuff.

:\Users\Alex\AppData\Local\ntuserlitelistOnce done, try to run MBAR again, and the scan should go through this time.

Glad to see that you were able to cripple the infection with MBAR. Though SmartService leaves a lot of remnants behind, so if you want, I can assist you with the rest of the clean-up, what do you say?
