Whenever I try to run command.com or Turbo C++ I get the following message.

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications

Choose Close to terminate the application.

Sometimes I get this message even while installing certain software.

Please help,

Vinith: Try the resolution in this support article from Microsoft.

Error message when you install or start an MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program

Hope that helps,
