I noticed something weird, as I use google search, and looking for items on amazon and ebay.

The word "best" is always replaced by "Most Exceptional"

I do not understand why.  Using two browsers: Opera and Chrome. No addons other than ALWAYS HTTPS, and Web of Trust.

Other than this oddity, my desktop has been running clean since I had to wipe it, about two months ago.  And another wipe on December 30.  Back then, I was dealing with an unknown/unidentified rootkit.

Hello there,

What browser is being affected by this? Opera or Chrome?

If its Chrome, i did some research into Web of Trust and it does not seem like you should have this addon, it steals your personal info and sells it to third party company's http://www.pcmag.com/news/349328/web-of-trust-browser-extension-cannot-be-trusted

As for Always HTTPS, im not sure if that's the problem.

Please tell me what browser is being affected by this problem.

If this is affecting both browsers, you should run a virus scan, stuff like Malwarebytes and Advast, awcleaner ect could help with this.

Thanks for reading.

I uninstalled Web of Trust.

Now, Chrome replaces the word "best" in any website, with the words "Most Exceptional"

Nothing appeared in Avast or Spybot S&D.

I just figured it out.  I installed an extension to block clickbait.  It obviously overstepped its bounds, changing words in google search and ebay/amazon.
