I don't know if anyone can help me but I have a situation that I created by mistake. I was having some problems with IE 11 on Windows 7 64-Bit laptop.

Had this ingenious idea to uninstall IE and then reinstall it. Well that did not work. I tried both through Windows Update and through downloading the file from Microsoft. Neither was successful. Then I went to find out about the error and it suggested uninstalling IE 9, but my machine had installed IE 10 when it uninstalled IE 11. So I decided I would try to uninstall IE10. Now I restarted the machine and it has been "Preparing to Configure Windows. Do Not turn off your computer" for over 2 hours.

Any suggestions?
