This is the darndest thing.

After installing Ubuntu Software Center and realizing how much there is, I decided I need to search for what I need to cut down on my time. First I loaded all Ubuntu provided apps, then I click -> Search, but no search box appears. When I follow the command "Ctrl + F" likewise - nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?
