I've been in the computer business since 1968 - and what a ride it has been! Today we can store more data on a a flash drive you can put in your pocket that we could in a room the size of a small house back then. My biggest problem is that there is so much information in cyberspace, and it is so fragmented, that it is very hard to find the answers to my computer questions. This looks like a "one stop" resource that can help me see the trees in the forest. Thanks for being here.

With complexity comes fragmentation of knowledge, especially as it becomes specialised; one could draw a parallel with the division of labour as economic society developed beyond the subsistence stage.
Hopefully, the collaborative effort of the members of this great user community, where each brings knowledge and experience often of very different areas, will "defrag" at least some computing information.
