Hello everyone!

I was trying to search for a list of the most active / common computer viruses on the internet nowadays. However, I couldn't find such information - I did find some articles talking a little bit about it, but they don't reveal much. Most of the list is just ransomware - which shouldn't be surprising nowadays, but still. What I do find a lot is about "famous viruses" and things like that, which is not what I'm looking for...

For information, here are the articles I mentioned:

(This one is in portuguese)
http://semvirus.pt/os-virus-mais-perigosos-de-2016/

http://news.softpedia.com/news/top-10-malware-threats-may-2016-edition-505542.shtml

http://www.computerworlduk.com/galleries/security/worst-10-ransomware-attacks-2016-we-name-internets-nastiest-extortion-malware-3641916/

So, I'm here to ask you guys - does someone knows about the most common / active viruses on the web today, so I can search more about how they work, what they do, etc? (Mind you, I'm not a hacker or anything like that. It's just for information purposes hahaha)

Oh! Also, would someone recommend me a wiki or some place where I can find more info about those viruses? Like I said before, knowing how they work, what do they do, etc. I did find a wiki, but it seems a little out of date from what I see. Here it is: http://virus.wikidot.com/system:list-all-pages/p/1

Thanks!
