Hi Guys,
I've got some USB sticks which are sat in an external hub. Each are set to format and (via syncback) sync a dropbox 'master' folder with various AV
and troubleshooting tools inside it.
My question is, is there a way to fetch the most recent .exe/ .msi/ installation file version automatically so that they are deposited into the master folder? Or will I have to update them manually?
Some examples of the software included that I would like to automatically update are MBAM, ADW, A2, Emsisoft.
There was a pre-existing script I had which relied on wget and webpage URLs, but with each new version of AVs, the URL changes, making the script useless.
Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers  :)

Some security vendors allow you to manually download definition file updates anywhere you want but most require downloading via the installed program's GUI.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Ideally I'd like the installation files to update to the newest version via a script or program that runs every day/ week. As these USB sticks are used on multiple different clients, most of which need the AV software setting up, it would be handy to have the most up to date installation file instead of having to install the older version and then upgrade.
