I opened my laptop from sleep and WIN 10 said it was repaing drive C. When it restarted I got a "We can't sign into your account" message. I've tried signing out and re-signing in a number of times. I've tried restarting a number of times. I have taken all but essential files from startup to no avail. I've run scannow to see if there are any corrupt files, there aren't. I have accessed my document folder by going into Explorer and accessing user folders and selecting my folder to back up important files since my last full backup, so I am safe. I have tried to reset WIN 10 but it says it can't. I wonder if there is any option other than to completely start again. I do have Acronis backup but I don't like to be beaten by Microsoft and I am curious  as to what can have happened whilst my machine was asleep. There were no updates recorded. Any ideas would be appreciated.
