Hi, I've recently been having problems with both my Win 8.1 laptop and my Win 7 gaming PC. My laptop aqcuired a very stubborn virus that has locked me out of it, turned my recovery drive into a write only and removed the OS files.

I have some feeling it may be a direct I.P attack. Now my PC is starting to get popups and random number processes appearing (as shown in the attachment).

I've now lost all of my Laptop data, a 2TB Internal HDD which I've only just bought and now I can't even factory restore it. I'm very anxious about anything happening to my gaming PC.

I don't use any dodgy sites; torrents, porn etc.

I play games off Steam, watch YouTube videos and use FB/Twitter and Discord.

On both Systems I had installed AVG and Malwarebytes, both seemingly doing their job.

I'm not really sure what to do, I don't want to spend any more money than what I already have if It's just going to happen again.
