Windows update tottaly screwed

os windows 8.1

tried sfc and dism didnt work dism failed comptly and sfc didnt fix everything

tried the windows update troubleshooter and deleteing softwaredistorubton etc didnt work

tried windows repair just windows update tick


windows update cant install any msu (just get stuck)

windows update checks and says no updates (i know there is)


i tried offline windows update but it just get stuck on first update

can you help me


NO reinstall

NO reformat

(ant got time for that crap andfixing all the programs)

If this is a clean install, I had the same problem and found this fix on eightforums:
First, I turned off updates (the Never option). Then I downloaded and manually installed KB3021910 and KB3172614 in that order.
After they successfully installed, I turned updates back on and the system happily updated for the next 3 hours.

my pc had one but not the other so i installed it and it fixed thanks
