Last year I had a problem with Northon and thanks to this forum I decided to change to ESET NOD, which is very good, along with Malwarebytes - free version.

I saw that Malwarebytes was removed from my computer I don't know why and when I downloaded it again I had problems with my browser, so I uninstalled it and I stopped having problems.

Could you give me a link for another malware removal since Malwarebytes is problematic?

Thank you!

Moved from malware logs

I just ran Rogue Killer on my computer and it found

7 Potentially Unwanted Modifications (PUM's).

Malwarebytes didn't detect these PUMS.

Prehaps, I should switch over to Rogue Killer.

I downloaded Rogue Killer and I accepted it when my computer asked me, but I don't see anything happening. Does it delay to finish the process?

Zemana AntiMalware free is similar to Malwarebytes but without real-time protection...it is just a stand-alone scanner which offers malware detection and removal.

Since Malwarebytes 3.0 was released, many users have reported various issues and glitches. While Malwarebytes has diligently attempted to address these problems, the development team is still receiving some complaints. For those users who are in that category, they can stay with or revert back to Malwarebytes 2.x which can be downloaded from here.

Alternatively, if using the newest version you can ask about your problem at the Malwarebytes 3.0 Support Forum so the development team can investigate.
