Lately when I try to update Opera through their website the version numbers are not matching the newest version.Majorgeeks has a different number than I get when downloaded.Anyone seeing this?

Sure you're not using a beta or pre-release build?

The above link is where you'll find the latest stable release version.

As well as the pre release and archived versions.

EDIT: As of this reply the current versions are:

44.0 2510.1449(PGO) is whats installed.Majorgeeks has 2552.635.Says its final.

I don't download from Major Geeks or follow their version numbers. I always go to the developer or source for software. So I don't know what is causing the discrepancy. I would ask that question of Major Geeks. I also have no idea what the (PGO) suffix means since it wasn't listed.

I downloaded the 'offline' package from https://www.opera.com/computer/windows

And get version: 44.0 2510.1449

I also found this in reference to your unusual (PGO) suffix:

Thanks.I am just going to let it auto update from now on or use Operas site.Ninite also shows the version you downloaded.

Did some searching.Opera desktop team website has version listed on Majorgeeks as of yesterdays date as a Beta.Could be a time zone thing.I will check tomorrow.
