Hey, I've never owned a PlayStation, so I wonder one thing.
If you are playing a game which involves aiming and shooting, such as GTA V, how do you do that with a console controller? Isn't it super-hard to do that, much like it would be extremely difficult to play Counter-Strike on a PC with the arrow controls on the keyboard instead of the mouse?
Yeah, that's basically my question, How do you aim with a PlayStation controller?:)

Hello, Just_One_Question.

As an avid gamer myself I play all kinds of games, PC, Console, Arcade etc.

I can say getting use to a console controller must be pretty weird after gaming on a computer for a while but you just eventually get used to it.

And as to your question itself, it's much easier to aim with a console controller than with a mouse in my own opinion, sometime when I play GTA V i'll hook my controller up to my PC just because I don't like playing it with a keyboard and mouse :P

I can say myself it's not auto-aim but some games do have aim-assist to help the "newer" players. ;)

I see. Well, I guess, I should just try it and find how it works for myself. The last shooter game I extensively played on a console was Contra from 1991 for the NES European Nintendo, lol. In it it was pretty easy to aim and shoot, but it didn't need to be all that precise, whereas in Counter-Strike there's nothing better than hearing 'Headshot' and 'M-m-M-m-Monsterkill'!:lmao:

With Playstation controller you use the left stick to aim and other buttons to shoot. So your left thumb gets pretty use to it after a while. You can also adjust the sensitivity within the game for certain things, especially for aiming. But, people will light you up in game play if you move like some 90 year old, taking 10 seconds to turn around.

I'd play Battlefield 4 with my son and I'd even know where he was hiding. No matter what, he'd always shoot me first. Young minds have quicker mental reflexes. It was so frustrating. Now in football, I'd have a better chance because it takes more planning and strategy instead of raw reflexes.
