Colour code incoming messages in thunderbird email

would any one know how i can Colour code incoming messages in thunderbird email
 so i can have email from my girlfriend one colour and email from my brother another colour
 thank you

I know it can be done within Thunderbird. I did it once long time ago. But it was limited to only 5 accounts if I recall correctly. That limitation didn't work for me though. I'll try and find the instructions again. It may have been improved over time.

Now there is an extension for it too.
