I had to go to serval funerals these past 2 years , so what I like to know is this : when you die what are the three things you would want in your coffin ( morbit I know ) and why. and do you believe you will have them in the hear after?? for me it would be these: 1. a rose--- to smell and see its beauty.

2. a seed-----to plant and grow

3. pictures of my children and friends------so I have them with me

yes I truly do believes so

My children have instructions to spread a bag of dry peas (pea-shooter type) around me.
So I can rest-in-peas! 8^P

WOW this is funny. A topic I can add to. lol

One day I was complaining about having to do the dishes AGAIN. My youngest out of the blue says to me.. "Mom when you die someday, you won't ever have to do dishes anymore". lol

So on my headstone I want it written. THERE! Do your own dishes now. lol

I don't want anything inside my coffin when I die,, actually I think I would rather be cremated. idk haven't given that a real lot of thought yet.

Not to spoil the mood, but I've always figured that once I'm in my coffin, I won't really be caring about anything much.

Cheers

No, just cremate me because in the end those zealots from timeteam come and dig you up probably saying "...I think we can say that these bones came from someone in the spaceless age..."
everyday is a gift

I'd want an oxygen bottle in case i wasn't dead. A battery operated circular saw in case i wasn't dead. A bell to ring in case i wasn't dead. A loaded gun to make sure i was dead, in case first three options failed to help. Maybe just as well i'm getting cremated.

Things I want in my coffin

1)Keg of Budweiser
2)Carton of Camel's and a lighter (they cant kill me now)
3)a chainsaw so I can kill off the other zombies

Dont worry if you think it wont fit in a standard coffin just bury me in my tool box it'll all fit besides I cant afford a coffin after i bought that thing (3.75 more years to pay on it)

hmm, perhaps a sprig of sage and some red jasper from the farm :trumpet: .

Although, i do feel my needs as a corpse will be different from my needs as a living being. What might i desire as a rotting corpse? ha haaa, perhaps some air freshner or deoderant? orrrr ...
some BRAins (said with sarcastic gurn) to snack on :inlove: .

I am in agreement mainly with those that say it wont matter for they will be dead and be unaware, although i would prefer to be buried rather than cremated, because i started to take comfort in the thought a few years ago that with my body wrotting, i shall be providing food for the soil and nutrition for vegetation, the maggots that eat me shall feed birds and spiders when they turn into flys which in turn will keep the balance in the food chain/eco system. My existence spreading through the eco-system ties in with my beliefs in chaos.

MAD ONE cheers :flowers:
