I was given this Dell laptop with Windows 7 Enterprise. It was cleaned up before it was given to me. I installed everything I could think of to keep it clean and running great. I was told to run "HiJackThis" and see if everything looked O.K. Well, to tell you the truth I have no idea what I'm supposed to be looking for. I did notice a lot of the lines say "Unknown Owner" and "File Missing". I called the guy that told me to run the program and he told me to post it here and let you look over it to see if everything looked O.K. Plus, if there is anything else you see that could clean up and keep this computer running great let me know.

Thank you. Steve

If the system has no malware...it seems odd that anyone would suggest running Hijack This (which is outdated).

To give you the benefit of a check, I am moving this topic to the BC Am I Infected forum from the Win 7 forum.

Louis

Thank you Hamluis. I'm not sure why I was told to run it. Just making sure everything is O.K. with this computer. It had a lot of stuff on it from the previous owners. I not sure if anything was deleted while they deleted all there stuff. Any suggestions on what to do to make sure everything is working properly would be appreciated.  Thank You!
