Hey, kind folks,

I think this is an invaluable resource, and am glad to be joining the fray.
We do our darnedest to help folks with malware infections, and it seems
they just keep getting more insidious and harmful. Everyone I tell not
to click on links or email attachments says, "I never do those things."

I think we need to find a way to address the malware problem within
the criminal justice system, and hold people accountable for the damage
they cause in lost time, lost data, and psychological trauma.

Okay, I'll get off my soap box, but I've had just about enough!

While criminal and civil penalties are important, user education and vigilance seems to me to be the only effective method to curtail malware.
Welcome to BC!

I chose my name because I am trying to learn how to fight malware and squashing spyware (and all other baddies out there) is what I'd like to help do. I recently joined MRU and chose a different handle from what I use over there. I am curious if other people do the same thing? Do you use different handles at different sites?
