Can't sync contacts with new ASUS Zenpad10

hi

I have a new Zenpad 10.  I cannot get it to sync my Outlook contacts.  Says it has synced but it hasn't.  My contacts sync properly with my Samsung S6, and with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 but this Zenpad simply ignores me.

 

I have tried to relink my Outlook account and get told by the Zenpad that that account is already linked.

 

If I press "Sync Now", it takes a second and then says that it has synced, when it hasn't.

 

Any ideas?

Fixed it myself.  Removed the ASUS contacts app.  Uninstalled Outlook app.  Reinstalled Outlook app.  Synced.  All ok now that the crappy ASUS contact thing is not in the picture.
