I accidently hit the broadband icon and was asked if I wanted to save changes, I said no and then "This connection can not be found".

I am required to enter a user name and password.

I hopefully will be doing a live chat today with my provider.

In the meantime, I need to know if I can do a broadband connection through Network connections in the start menu just in case.

I really do not want to shut my computer down until I have a backup plan.

I also read I can do a reset to an date, not the best option as I have changed several documents over the past few days.

I will however do that if it means having to redo a bunch of documents.

I did send a few revised docs to my email address in case a reset is required.

Thanks if anyone can help

Solved, just connected using start menu Network connections.

Desktop icon still says " This connection can not be found".

Tech at provider told me to check go control panel, Network and sharing center, change adapter setting to check connection.
