I did the Windows Creators update on the 25th and after that it has went all down hill! So, I updated my computer, I noticed it was running really slow, like to the point it took me 15 minutes to get between two websites. So I know to look at the task manager, run my antivirus.. etc. I was going to print something and went to the printer from the control panel. The old way like we used to do in Windows 7. I noticed that my that the icon for my computer had the yellow triangle on it. So I ran the troubleshooter, then checked the device manager. It said that I am missing : Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller driver and then I went into the details of that driver and it said that these was the hardware ID's: ACPI\VEN_CPL&DEV_0002 ACPI\CPL0002 *CPL0002 . I wore myself out trying to find whatever that is. My computer is still acting up, then it begins to do the page jumping thing and popping up all these windows saying my computer was infected. Now all of these little files are popping up everywhere that have like letters and numbers mixed together: In my documents folder: Xmirror58, wait let me back up it would not allow me to open the folders. All these folder we visible but you could see them just not open them. There is 2 in my documents folder, one on my c drive and one in my users and I think one in my appdata folder. I tried using Malwarebytes, Rogue Killer, Avast, Bitdefender, privacy fence or something like that. I even uploaded the files to Microsoft. I do not know what it is. I have shared the pictures on my google drive and made the link so anyone with it can view it. Can someone anyone please help me with this and just tell me if it is in fact ransomware and how to get rid of it or if I can. plllllleeeaaaaaase! Thank you so much!
