My friend recently started a new job and he needs to have an email address his computers were broken so I have given him one of my laptops running windows10. I set him up on  the internet using his internet address and password. He already has a live mail internet address so I downloaded mozilla thunderbird which is what I use to get my emails. But I found it was still in my name how can I get his name and email address on it?

Follow Animals Suggestion.

But delete your account on the Laptop and then setup for him.

If you just create a New Account for your friend , and dont delete yours , when he checks for his mail , yours will be there also.

I would assume not deleting your Email Account who ever that is with.

But in Thunderbird , Deleting it from there , as it is only a Client to check your Email Account that you setup on it.

As Animal link posted : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manual-account-configuration

First, open the Account Settings (Tools > Account Settings). Each email or newsgroup account that has already been configured is listed on the left side of the Account Settings dialog. These accounts correspond to the top-level folders displayed in the "All Folders" list.

I assume you can delete any account setup within Account Settting / and vise versa Add any new ones.
