I have an asrock motherboard with a quad core AMD and 12GB RAM. It runs windows7 beautifully. It upgrades to win 10 without a problem, but when you try to use win10, it only operates for 5 minutes, then locks up. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Do you have any error logs for us?

Absolutely no error logs. Nothing even shows up in event viewer except that it was powered down wrong.

I wish I had more to give you. I've built and loaded hundreds of computers. Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, even Boistar. I've never seen this issue. This was my first time using Asrock. I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue with Asrock.

Just FYI, I did drop it back down to 7 ultimate. Runs fine.
