I have just tried Zone Alarm but found it a it of a pain in the butt to use. It completely blocked my internet access and I have no idea how do get it started so I was wondering if there was a more easy program to use?

Maybe Windows Firewall Control.Tried free, but paid seems easier to use.All these types of software require lots of user input.I like Glasswire free. Not that hardcore, but shows me enough info.

A inexpensive NAT router with Windows OS firewall is a good configuration.
