Complex problem I guess.

Have an Acer netbook and Dell laptop running 1607 Win. 10 32 Bit

Wired USB mouse works properly in both. Two Logitech M185 wireless mice, with fresh batteries, do not; used to under earlier Win 10 installations.

Also Samsung SE-S084 portable DVD does not work (this works on HP desktop running 1607 64 bit).

Neet USB Audio Receiver works on  netbook.

So USB ports are working and when I plug devices in both laptop and netbook make sound as if detecting device. Device Manager shows devices. Unistalled drivers, powered down powered up, with devices plugged on start and added after start, but still not working.

Cannot find drivers on Logitech or Samsung websites for these devices; perhaps too old?

Any advice please?

Don't know what happened but after leaving things alone for an hour I once again plugged the DVD player into the Dell laptop; now working!

However tried same on Acer netbook; still not working. Pity because it is the Acer I want the DVD player on: Dell has one built in.

After two more reboots the Acer now has the DVD player working but like the Dell the mice still do not.

Have you tried reinstalling the Setpoint software?

Have found part of the problem; managed to swap the USB receivers:-; Corrected now one mouse works on both machines!

So looks as if it is a dodgy mouse, not machine or software. Will try to get another wireless mouse to try out or try the dodgy mouse on another working machine.

Maybe you can try to check your mouse hardware. Or if you happened to this error after Windows 10 KB4074588 update, you would better uninstall this update in Update and security.
