Hi Guys,

So far the issue is on 2 PC running on Windows 10 Pro.

We are unable to install this particular KB4015217.

Step taken,

  1. Use the WindowsUpdate.diagcab tool to fix it but no success.
  2. ResetWUEng - no sucess
  3. Fix Windows Update errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool - no sucess.

Any thing else should i do ?

Off the top of my head, try getting it from the Update Catalog and see if a manual (non-Windows Update) install would work. I've had to do that in the past for stuck/stubborn updates.

guys,

I managed to fix the issue by using DISM.

You can try it .

Have it works by deleting all subfolder and files on c/windows/softwaredistribution/download and you could delete everything and please dont delete the download folder and just the files on it.

guys,

I think I have found the problem to this issue.

During my initial installation i have changed my default location of program file from C:\ to F:\ . Due to this most of the update failed to install.

Article from MS https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/933700/microsoft-does-not-support-changing-the-location-of-the-program-files

Latest KB4025339 also failed to install, but after change the programfiledir on regedit it manage to fix the problem.
