Used to use AdwCleaner as second check / choice to MalwareBytes.


Now its been bought out and remarketed as part of the MalwareBytes brand, is there any point in using it ? are they basically the same engine ?

It's still a separate product from MBAM. If you like it then yes, you would continue to use it in addition to MBAM. Personally I've never found a use for it.
