Would someone please inform me what will “Upgrade this PC now” do?

1.      It will upgrade a PC installed with other Windows such as Windows 7, Windows 8.1… to Windows 10, or

2.      It will upgrade a PC installed with Windows 10 to a higher version Windows 10.

It upgrades your pc from windows 7,8,8.1 to 10 or from 10 to a higher version of 10.

That's what the upgrade does.

The second option is creating an image or DVD for using it on another PC.

Does this imply that people still can upgrade their Windows 7,8 and 8.1 to W 10 for free?
