This isn't a question. I solved a problem I think others might need to know about.
I was getting slowed down on internet, Netflix hanging up & reloading, etc. I noticed I was being over run with cookies. Dozens of them would appear upon opening my browser (Chrome). Many I knew to be tracking cookies because I recognized the names from anti-malware scans. I scanned my computer with: Sptbot, Adaware, Malwarebytes (which I found to be corrupted & had to remove) Sophos, Housecall, RootkitBuster, and Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool. None of these found anything, claimed my computer was clean. I came to Bleeping Computer & found the closest thing to my problem & followed the instructions to clean the computer. Everything on that list came back clean until the last one (Either Zemana or Hitman not sure now which). It found some PUPs & tracking cookies. Problem persisted! I reset Chrome & made the mistake of restarting my extensions because I had been using all these extensions without problems for years. Problem persisted! By my observations, I believed the problem had to be browser based so I ran "Chrome Cleaner" & reset Chrome again, this time not reinstalling my extensions. All good. I reloaded Ad Blocker Plus, all good. Then I reloaded PRIVACY BADGER. Boom! Dozens of tracking cookies! I finally noticed that Privacy Badger had updated on 2017-3-28, about the time my problem began. I deleted it & everything seems to be OK now. Just thought I should get the word out.
