on my Asus laptop. Fortunately the touch screen and onscreen keyboard are functioning.

The Keyboard setting in Device manager displays the following message:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its

configuration information in the registry is incomplete or damaged.

(Code 19)

Can anyone suggest how to repair the damaged/incomplete registry setting?

Restore from restore point fixed the problem -- without undoing the Creators Update.
