Hello penguinistas.

OS is Mint 17.3, Cinnamon desktop. OVPN and all dependencies are installed.

I've got an issue importing a .ovpn file through network connections, > +

Cannot import VPN connection

The file 'AU Melbourne.ovpn' could not be read or does not contain recognized VPN connection information

Error: unknown error.

I've checked the file and the contents are legit, restarted the network manager. Done a pile of fiddling around.

Is this a bug?

I've got a workaround by clicking in the lower right corner on the network and opening "Network Connections", then adding it through there manually.

Just in case anyone else gets the same issue.
