forgeting password

in my pc account administrator, i had created two option of log in 1 was using password and 2 using pin .currently it wants me to use password so my question is how can i shift from using password to pin coz i have forgot the password.

Login to your account with the pin. 


Open an elevated command prompt. Press the Windows key + X. Click on cmd > as admin


Type the following command

net user <your name> *

This will ask for a password. Press Enter without input to clear the password. Press Enter again to confirm.

If you created both password and pin, you should have options to choose pin/password just below the password field at the logon. Then from there follow John's advice to clear the local password. :bananas:
