So recently I realised that google chrome had kept opening 3 tabs in the background of searchusatoday.com, askcom and 500 Internal Server Error. even after ending process tree in task manager, it auto startups again in the background in about 5s time. The opened "tabs" do not show up in the taskbar at the bottom and each "google chrome" takes up abt 200mb of memory space. I have tried AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes but both dont seem to solve the problem. Furthermore, when i uninstalled chrome, the virus automatically uses internet explorer to open the same websites instead.

Download the Junkware Removal Tool and run it. Turn off your current antivirus, if you have one. Run a scan of your system. After the scan, it should produce a log file to your desktop called JRT.txt. Open it and paste the log file into your post.

That's good! I think mntemp and SearchScopes were the problems. Your computer should be fine now.

Recently my chrome is opening on it's own and many spam tabs will open itself. It's really frustrating. Can yo please help in solving this.

I tried to download junkware removal tool from the link in the above page but that won't do it.
