I switched from Chrome when I found out that the new release will not let me disable autoplay.  I can't stand videos that start up on their own.  Firefox was recommended by a friend who knows a lot about computers.  At first, I thought it was much better but it seems to have slowed down and there are a few minor things I miss from Chrome.  I am now seeing that Edge is the best but I never liked IE and am not sure about microsoft software.

Another note - favorite search engine?  I was using google, switched to Bing but I think Google is better.

Firefox - the best overall, esp. for professionals
Chrome - more simplistic and best in RAM management; best for the common user
Tor - best in security

Google - the best ever
Bing and Yahoo - good, but not quite good enough
DuckDuckGo - best for security

:)

Thank you for your reply.

Does anyone know if there Is a way to disable autoplay on Firefox?  I thought I had but when I go to some pages the video starts playing - or an ad starts up.  Trying to speed up my connection!

I have a new laptop and am trying to get used to Windows 10.  I hear that it is slower so maybe that is the problem - I had Windows 7 before.

Well Edge is built on a different engine than IE was. Edge was designed on modern website technologies like HTML5 and IE was left in Windows 10 for legacy websites.
