So...can ANYONE tell me why after (approximately) 6 months after I thought the hard drive on this laptop was COMPLETELY fried that when I decided to try plugging it in with a different AC adapter that it powered right up ??? I mean,SERIOUSLY...it wouldn't even work on battery power ! I even took the battery out & put it back in ! But,suddenly, after like 6 months this sob works again !!??? AND...it was NOT the old power supplies ! Because, they all work, too !!??? The one thing that I DID notice when it powered up to everything I still had opened when it took a dump on me (Had no power) was it opened up with a "breakpoint" error message ! I've ran Avast scans & Malwarebytes scans and they found NOTHING ! Did I have too much open for maybe too long (I rarely shut down) ???

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

I don't see anything indicating a problem of importance...I suggest that you cease running registry cleaners on your system.

Registry cleaner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registry_cleaner

Everything looks fine as Louis has said. I do suggest going into bios and checking the cmos battery levels. Low cmos battery levels will give you a sudden shutdown no boot scenario as it completely loses it's memory of HD settings etc. So check that it is 3v. Any less than that you need to get a new one.

The most commonly used CMOS battery is a 2032. They look like a circular disc 18mm wide and 2 - 3mm deep. To find out how to change the one in your laptop go to YouTube and type 'Make and model' + 'CMOS' into the search or, if that doesn't produce a hit then 'Make and model' + 'Teardown'. This latter may well tell you more than you ever wanted to know about the innards of your laptop but it will mention the CMOS battery somewhere.

Be warned, changing the CMOS battery in a laptop ranges from easy to ridiculously hard. Watch a video first !

Depends on model year etc they are all different. As you boot the system right at the vendor splash screen Dell, Toshiba etc.. pressing one of the Delete key, F1, F10, F12 should get you into bios. You just mash the key pressing it several times till you get in. Then you can check the status of the bios battery in one of the menu's. As Chris has said, if you've never moved around in bios setting before or changed a laptop battery it can be difficult to extreme. I have even seen batteries soldered to the Mainboard believe it or not. Something like that require a tech shop to do it for you. Most laptops are easy to access on the bottom a tiny door with 1-2 tiny screws holding it. It depends on make model 2-d doors one for bios battery, one for wifi card access, another for memory. There may only be one door with everything packed in there and you remove the memory modules (carefully) to gain access to the bios battery under the memory. Just check the bios for the voltage. Anything less than 3 volts you have problems. The cr2032 coin battery typically last 3-5 years. It's one of those things you can forget till it hits ya with a problem and your system reboots itself or not at all. Your laptop is 2011 So it's about that time. Some batteries are propitiatory, and what I mean by that Some vendors will actually stack two coin batteries on top of each other and heatshrink them together with a tiny pigtail coming off it. They last twice as long because it has dual cr2032 batteries, but the caveat to it is finding a replacement with a pigtail on it. Annoying! Again, something like that requires someone savvy enough to rebuild one with the tiny plug.
