Recently my computer gained a virus so I decided to format my HDD. How ever, I couldn't get passed the dreaded ""We couldn’t Create a new partition or locate an existing one." screen.

I did everything on this site http://www.partition-tool.com/resource/manage-partition/we-could-not-create-a-new-partition-or-locate-an-existing-one.html

Which includes re-plugging my usb boot and running Diskpart. But I still cant get it to start. Please help me ?!

Added stuff: I dont have a disk drive and the only option is usb.

Could really use some information on the make and model of your computer and which OS version you are running.

Can you clarify one point from your first post. Did you format your hard drive and then get this error message when you started the re-install, or did you get the error message before the format started ?

If you did manage to format the hard drive then the computer will not run since it has no OS.

Do you have installation media ?  If you don't, and if you have access to another computer you can download the appropriate version of Win 8.1 from MS. This link is your starting point. Note, you will need to download the USB installation version.
