How can I view the cookie folder?

I go to user/username/cookies and it tells me access is denied. I am the admin, so I don't know why it will not let me. I tried to copy the folder to a flash drive, but it wouldn't work. Is there any software or anything that will allow me to see the cookies?

Download takeownership.zip and run the .reg file. Then take ownership of the cookies folder
