Up until a week or so ago, when Windows 8.1 started up it would go to lock screen and then I would click the screen to get to the login page. There I would click my account and get to my desktop. I don't know what settings I changed but now I don't see the lock screen on startup and I get logged in automatically. I went to netplwiz and the box next to "User must enter a username and password to use this computer" is already checked. I would like to revert back to the way it used to startup but I can't find how to do it.

Please create Windows 8.1 Setup DVD and boot your computer with Windows 8.1 Setup DVD and use Automatic Repair tool if this tool wont work use System Restore tool to restore Windows to a date when it was working.

I would do the System Restore first, it is simpler and a lot quicker.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
