I am at friendís place and want to configure my ibook G4 to access her high speed DSL internet using DHCP (she does not have a router so WiFi is not an option). I will connect to the modem using an ethernet cable. I understand in the TCP/IP tab, I click "DHCP". What else needs to be done to access the internet from this point?

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
