so using Photobucket (and just recently) Ebay i get a full-screen "pop-up" with the Firefox page and a smaller "download security patch" pop-up...

i havent done anything but close them because each time the "source URL" for the patch is bs website, and i dont think any 2 times that it pops up, the address has been the same...

i scrolled through 15 pages of Virus Removal Guides and saw nothing related to this particular nonsense...

short of getting rid of Firefox and reloading a new  version (which i dont think will do any good) has anyone got a good solution?  ive run Malwarebytes and super-antispyware and Microsoft security but none of them see anything...

ive always liked Firefox because it's updated pretty often and usually been really good with avoiding these things.  i really dont want to get rid of it because i have a lot of website sign-ins saved and it might be a month or more trying to get back into them...
